There is one thing to be sad about today. A death of e legendary crocodile hunter, Steve irwin.
He didn't die because he was eaten by crocodiles, but struck on the chest by a stingray's barb. I grew up watching him doing his silly stunts. I had memories of macgyver and sesame street in JKT. I have memories of the Crocodile Hunter on Discovery channel growing up in Singapore. Bye bye, crocodile hunter.
I am sad.
But there was a time i was happy today. Even if it was just for a short walk to class. Thank you.
I had the luxury of staring at boys wearing nice shirts and ties today. I sat across 2 german blokes, in their 20s. Both wore brown pants. One wore a very nice short-sleeved light blue and orange striped shirt and a refreshingly matching shade of orange tie with diagonal white stripes. The other wore white sleeved shirt and a pretty blue and green polka dotted tie. For a good 20 minutes, i got to stare at their shirts. And distracted enough to give them wrong directions...
Wrote a little something today. Thank you Lenore K.

Newton's food quality has gone down. The experience, even more so. We met a very senile indian old man who took our order:
"vegetable fried rice. No meat. No chicken. No mutton. No beef"
mumble mumble mumble. fried...ok. Vegetable Fried noodle.
"No. Vegetable fried RICE. RICE." *points to picture. RICE.
okay. vegetable fried noodle.
"NOO. FRIED RICE." * points to picture again.
vegetable rice. *nods head. Okay, fried rice. *points to picture.
Food comes. Karuna and i looked at each other in disbelief. We have vegetable fried NOODLE. At least it was good.
